The Rookie is one of the most versatile machines in the ATEC® line. It’s really a downsized Power Hummer®, designed to meet the needs of the youth leagues and coaches around the world. Its dual, concave disc design allows a coach to throw consistently accurate fastballs and run a multitude of defensive drills, all with ONE machine! Machine pitch youth league play was conceived around this solid performer because of its unique versatility as a training tool. Today you’ll find “Rookie League” programs all over the world. With variable speed control, the Rookie pitches up to 60 mph. Its 360¾ left-right rotation and 120¾ of vertical pivot enables pop-ups, fly balls, grounders, line drives and fungo drills with ease and precision.
